A few years ago, using leftover oil paint, I scribbled something… well, calling it a “scribble” doesn’t sound great, but it was something I wrote without thinking.
Over time, I’ve grown kind of attached to it… sweat
So I thought, “Why not use this as a base for a logo?” (⁰▿⁰)
It was just a simple idea…
But as I started working on it—removing the orange background and cutting out just the letters, turning it into an image, and designing it—it ended up taking a whole day.
My shoulders were so stiff!
But thanks to that, this is what I ended up with ↓
The colors are just my style, and since I used all the colors I love on the brush and twisted it while drawing, the letters have a bit of weight to them.
I’m now thinking of ways to use this in various places.
I like simple things and concepts.
So when I designed it simply, this is how it turned out.
I never imagined something so insignificant could turn into something like this ^ - ^
YOUFORYOU
It’s a little play on my name, Yu.
What is real kindness?
I think there’s strength in truly kind things and actions.
“You are for you.”
People often tell me my paintings feel kind, but I don’t really get it myself.
Still, I’d love to create pieces that people will want to see again and again!
Since no one’s really watching, I’ll quietly leave this here.
I hope this translation captures the essence you were going for!
