“Gently Embracing Many Hearts”
Instead of words,
The brush dances, colors speak.
One canvas reflects the heart,
And a conversation begins in silence.
Just by gazing, we feel
The pain and joy embedded in shapes,
Invisible voices resonate.
Words are unnecessary;
If these colors, these lines
Touch your heart,
Just show me, let me feel.
When the silent voices
Fill the space,
We connect
In a quiet conversation called art.
Postscript
This poem is themed around the concept of “conversations through art” without using words. In our daily lives, we exchange many words, but those words can sometimes hurt others. Especially in public spaces, unnecessary conversations can burden someone’s heart unintentionally.
But what if we could convey our thoughts through art without using words? In a dialogue without words, people can freely express their emotions and thoughts and communicate with each other in a way that feels natural. Art allows for freedom of interpretation, helping us avoid misunderstandings and conflicts that can arise from words.
Emotions that cannot be fully expressed in words, or thoughts that are difficult to articulate, can be enveloped by art, becoming a means to protect each other’s hearts. The deep connections born from silence are hidden within art.
What my mentor taught me:
“Music is words. Art is conversation.”
Perhaps it is art, not politics, prime ministers, or police, that truly protects many people. ^ - ^
I hope this resonates with you.
