しーーーーっと。 Quietly

Light and shadow regarding words like envy or jealousy.

I happened to stumble upon an article discussing why Hitler’s paintings aren’t valued. I skimmed through the long paragraphs as I always do.

Hmm.

Conclusion → Because it’s Hitler. Basically, even after his death, he remains highly criticized, and as a result, other painters are compared to him. Dictators, from a psychological perspective and from the environments they survive in, tend to possess a sense of subjugation and obedience that’s far from ordinary. It’s not really about art at all.

I think dictators are the farthest thing from artists.

He must have gone through a lot in his childhood environment, but still (・Д・).

I believe that even the tiniest little spark of jealousy, the kind that really accumulates over time, built up to the point that it made history.

Science may analyze the structure of the brain in a philosophical way, but even Hitler was born from a mother, right? He’s human!

“Obey! Obey!”

Sob ( ;  ; ) “I envy that kid!”

“Curse you! Obey! Obey!”

Sob ( ;  ; ) “I envy that house!”

“Fool! Obey! Obey!”

Sob (T ^ T) “Ugh, I’m done. I’ll just become a dictator!”

That’s probably how it went.

Hmm. What a tragedy.

I can only pity him.

However, the fact that his artwork is still talked about, even for reasons other than artistic merit, is, in a way, remarkable.

Speaking of religion, jealousy and envy are part of the seven deadly sins in Christianity.

In Islam, they are seen as impurities of the heart that invalidate good deeds.

In Hinduism, they are destructive emotions that throw off spiritual balance and lead to misfortune.

So it seems this is a universal belief across religions.

But I don’t know, as I’m not religious.

(Today’s discussion went from Nazis to religion — what a long conversation!!!)

When I used to read all sorts of beauty experts’ literature for work, I remember reading that envy ages you.

Ugh! (・Д・)

Ever since then, I’ve made a point to keep motivating myself.

As long as you keep improving yourself, everything will be fine ^ - ^

And actually, I’m not that attached to things to begin with!

Haha!

Ha…
