I think I remember going to a Toulouse-Lautrec exhibition and searched through postcards unnecessarily, but I couldn’t find any…汗
Whenever I go to an art museum, I always make sure to get a postcard as a souvenir. I love taking home a small card featuring my favorite painting.
I suspect that there were many paintings related to the Moulin Rouge, but I’m not particularly fond of cabarets…
However, I still feel that Lautrec’s paintings have a fresh quality that I appreciate. They look stylish as posters.
I tend to view art in a rather straightforward manner ^ - ^
And that’s just fine^ - ^
I’ve never used the audio guides at museums either ^ - ^
I just breeze through and leave quickly^ - ^
Anyway, I’ve just realized that I don’t have any postcards…汗
From now on, I’ve decided that I will try to get at least one postcard of even the artworks I don’t particularly like, just as a record of my visit.
For the sake of simply having a record of where I’ve been…
There’s a painting of a woman whose face is distorted and grotesque, with a deformed shape.
What was it that I wanted to express?
Hmm, I don’t know ^ - ^
But in any case, this person is wonderful and beautiful.
Everyone perceives things differently ⭐︎
