のっそり Slowly

Recently, I started reading articles from “Modern Business,” and nowadays, we live in an era where having a rational way of thinking is considered good. The concept of a Win-Win relationship—meaning, “If you are like this, then I will be like that.”

There is no right or wrong. What matters is what’s inside.

I’ve interacted with many people, and I tend to think a lot about how to approach people who are exclusive. Let’s take a moment to understand the meaning of “exclusive.”

What is the correct meaning of “exclusive”?

“Exclusive” refers to rejecting outsiders or not accepting them into a group. It implies the tendency to exclude those who are not part of one’s own group or organization. For example, imagine there is an organization that refuses to accept foreigners. Such an organization can be considered an exclusive group. Similarly, a person who tries to exclude anyone who doesn’t share their views or way of thinking can be described as having an exclusive mindset.

If exclusivity continues for too long, it can cause issues in many areas, and eventually, things won’t go smoothly or may face physical limitations, making it difficult to move forward.

Thinking habits can be quite complicated. Dealing with such people requires careful attention.

Why? Because it often involves deep internal issues, making it a very sensitive matter. It’s essential to approach this without getting emotionally involved. Direct communication might work, but if rejection continues, there’s no way to engage further.

In such cases, it’s important to maintain some distance. It’s best to wait for an appropriate moment to have a conversation.

If the person shows defensive behavior, it’s important not to push too hard. Instead, wait for a quiet moment when no one is around, and gently repeat your message.

Slowly, gradually, like an elephant.

And eventually, they’ll be able to dive into the pool and enjoy a nice bath.
